Over 800 films in Czech under 6 months
Our biggest challenge yet. We were tasked with delivering 640 hours of full lip sync dubbing in Czech language within 6 months. This translates to roughly 800 titles. No small feat whatsoever, but we were able to create a well-established environment in the Czech region to do this job.
We worked directly with five different independent partners in Prague so we could simultaneously work on different titles at the given time. We handled checking of the source materials, coordinating all of the productions, and commencing proofreading and full audio quality control for every single title. Oh, and we delivered it all in 5.1.
Initial QC
We have downloaded all source materials and did initial quality control for audio, script and screener containers.
Package upload
We uploaded the packages via Signiant to a designated sound studios.
Proofread
We double-checked with the proofreaders to see if everything was fine in the scripts.
R&E of audio mix
A lot of hours spent in the studio working on the best audio quality.
Reupload
Completed files were uploaded by the studio to our lab via Signiant with annotations in the naming for easy navigation.
Final QC
For 5.1 audio files, materials are initially verified by audio technicians, followed by full QC carried out by our Lab. For 2.0 audio files, full QC carried out at our Lab only
Full QC
Deliverable files were checked by our specialist. Final adjustments to the subtitles were made at this step.
Delivery
Before upload (Signiant) all the files went through our final Spot QC in accordance to the client specifications.
